On this episode of Practical Pam embedded below I interview Noelle Corum CFA, who shares with us 4 misconceptions about being a woman in the investment management industry.

Noelle Corum started her investment management journey in college by participating in several investment challenges. After falling in love with finance, she received a BA in Business Administration, a minor in Mathematics and a certificate in Service Leadership from St. Louis University. After graduating, she went on to dive right into her career while simultaneously pursuing her CFA charter.

She has been at her current company for more than 8 years and is active in their women’s network and leaderboards. Currently, she works as a portfolio manager on the multi-sector fixed income team, focusing on interest rate debt and foreign exchange. She recently won Atlanta’s Power 30 under 30 award and has been featured on Bloomberg TV.

She loves her family dearly and as a foodie, is on top of the newest and best restaurants. She is passionate about different cultures, adoption and building socio-economic unity.
